Max

In May 2019, Max and I began our journey with LOH. Training from Alberta definitely presented a few challenges but we overcame them with the help of our new LOH family! Now, Max and I go everywhere together and our connection is stronger than ever. Without my four-legged companion, life would be pretty hard. He comforts me when I’m sad, let’s me stroke his ears when I’m feeling overwhelmed and climbs into my lap when I need one of his big bear hugs. Max helps me navigate the stress and anxiety that comes with being a substitute teacher. He is my constant companion on the days when travelling from school to school feels like an insurmountable task. Without Max in my life, I would be unable to do this job or function normally in this life.
